Technical Project Manager, Global Operations – Beckman Coulter Diagnostics
Reporting to the Director, Global Operations PMO and Strategy, this on‑site role based in Chaska, Minnesota, leads global project and portfolio delivery, enabling cross‑functional teams to deliver critical business benefits.
Responsibilities- Take accountability and control of the delivery of multi‑disciplinary Global Operations projects and programs that deliver critical and strategic business benefits.
- Monitor, measure, and coach the execution of multiple projects to achieve program objectives.
- Plan and design technology transfer/NPI projects and programs, defining success criteria, setting controls, and ensuring appropriate infrastructure, governance, and change management.
- Establish and utilize effective risk management and mitigation practices, properly identifying, assessing, tracking, and communicating risks.
- Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, and Operations stakeholders to challenge, define, and implement innovative compliant opportunities to increase efficiencies of design change and supplier qualification processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering‑related field (minimum 9+ years in a manufacturing organization) or higher‑degree with corresponding experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading medium to large‑scale technology transfer/NPI projects and design change programs.
- Proven ability to manage medium/large design changes and technology transfer projects in the Medical Device or Diagnostics regulatory environment, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and global standards.
- Proficiency in lean six sigma tools and problem‑solving methods.
- Technical leadership capability to execute large cross‑functional projects, meeting quality, scope, cost, and time targets.
- Approximately 25% global travel.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Lean / Six Sigma certification (Kaizen leader) and demonstrated problem‑solving capability.
- Proficiency in Power BI/Smartsheet, MIRO, Excel, and project‑management software.
Salary range: $116,000–$125,000 annually, with eligibility for bonus/incentive pay. Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) retirement plan.
