Supplier Quality Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer I – Beckman Coulter Diagnostics

Responsible for improving supplier quality for purchased components.

• Execution of daily supplier management actions to improve supplier performance
• Disposition nonconforming material and develop plans to prevent recurrence
• Primary supplier quality representative for root cause and corrective action analysis regarding supplier‑caused manufacturing issues
• Update supplier material control plans and incoming material inspection plans
• Work with suppliers to determine root cause and develop robust corrective actions

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science field
• 0–2 years experience
• Ability to read and understand specifications on engineering drawings
• Investigation skills to determine if components are nonconforming
• Technical writing skills to document investigation results

• Ability to travel
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25 lbs; other physical requirements may apply

• Functional experience in supplier management in an FDA or other regulated industry
• Knowledge of GDT
• Experience with sampling plans and measurement systems

The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000. This range may be modified in the future.
