Civil Project Engineer - Municipal

Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, PE to join our Municipal team in our Chaska office.

We are looking to add a Project Engineer, PE who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities!

• Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction
• Work closely with Project Managers in understanding client needs and expectations.
• Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies
• Read and interpret engineering plans, specifications and reports
• Provide technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and other staff members
• Assist with business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.)
• Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota
• 4+ years’ progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience working with municipal infrastructure preferred
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
• Knowledge of MnDOT requirements
• Possess a valid driver's license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required

Bolton & Menk will currently not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary Range: $68,000 - $120,000 depending on years of experience and credentials. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate based on education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities at the geographic location. The company reserves the right to pay more or less than this estimate or offer additional benefits and compensation.
