Design Engineer / Project Management

We are a growing company recognized with over 25 years in the Material Handling Industry. Our focused markets are food processing plants, manufacturing facilities and warehouse centers. We offer solutions to our customers by applying the correct equipment to improve the processes they currently perform. We specialize in conveyors but offer a full range of material handling options including robotics, unit handling automation & storage equipment including racking & shelving.

• 4–6 years AutoCAD experience required
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel & Office
• Detail-oriented, meticulous and customer-driven
• Strong mechanical aptitude, desire to solve complex problems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented

• Generate 2D AutoCAD drawings collaborating with Sales Engineers and vendors; prepare Bill of Materials, quoting and estimating
• Work closely with Sales Engineers on material handling solutions, including site visits (travel required for measurements)
• Help facilitate job completion by generating spare parts lists for customers
• Coordinate with vendors on approval drawings, freight coordination and project management
• Handle customer service calls
