Life Enrichment Assistants Wanted
Are you creative, energetic, and passionate about bringing joy and meaningful experiences to older adults? Auburn Manor is hiring multiple Life Enrichment Assistants to join our team!
These benefit-eligible positions offer 30–40 hours per week and a great benefits package. This position will be specifically focused on creating engaging, person-centered programs for our Memory Care residents.
We would love to meet candidates with experience or education in art, music, recreation therapy, or memory care, although this is preferred, a willingness to learn and obtain the knowledge would also be a plus. The right person is compassionate, dependable, creative, and excited to help residents stay active, connected, and engaged.

Responsibilities:

- Ability to exercise independent judgement, make sound decisions and exhibit flexibility when needed.

- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to read, write, add, and subtract
- Ability to lead large and small group activities and get involved, i.e. wear costumes, use props, etc.
- Ability to document care and services,formulate goals and care plans
- Ability to organize and work effectively with others
- Ability to walk, stand or push wheelchairs for long periods
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend and twist
- Ability to set up and take down tables and chairs
- Ability to load and unload wheelchairs from a vehicle
- Free of police record related to misappropriation, abuse or other offenses prohibited by law.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to efficiently utilize common word processing, electronic calendars, email and other required CPU programs.
