Eastern Carver County Schools’ Building and Grounds Department is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for all students, staff and visitors. Our team provides daily support to maintain building systems and structures, service the grounds, provide custodial services, oversee construction and renovation projects, maintain compliance with building and fire codes, safety and environmental regulations, oversee security and fire alarm systems in all buildings.

Under general supervision, perform cleaning tasks and operation of various types of cleaning equipment to care for and maintain assigned buildings and related facilities.

• Lift 70 lbs waist height occasionally
• Lift 50 lbs to chest high regularly
• Extended walking
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals
• Must be in good general health
• Previous experience in cleaning and building maintenance

This position is posted as a full-time (40 hrs/week), twelve (12) month position. In addition, the pay includes additional compensation for each level of boilers license and other applicable licenses when licenses are obtained. Eligibile for benefits as negotiated with Union Local 70 and District 112 plus enrollment in Minnesota's largest retirement pension! This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
