Position: Danaher Business System Leader Manager, Hardware (Continuous Improvement Leader)

Danaher Business System Leader Manager, Hardware

The role is responsible for driving a robust understanding and application of Danaher Business System (DBS) tools across the team, partnering with cross‑functional leaders to achieve business objectives within Hardware Operations. The position reports to the Senior Director of Production Operations and is based in the Hardware Manufacturing plant, Chaska, MN.

In This Role
  • Apply DBS to drive transformative change and improve KPI's in the Hardware Operations Plant; participate in DM to take action and solve problems.
  • Coach and mentor work teams to build sustainable processes that deliver on KPI's.
  • Collaborate with others, solicit feedback, and react constructively; take initiative and accountability for corrective measures.
  • Collect Gemba evidence and actively participate in Kaizen; lead others to root‑cause issues at Gemba.
  • Set and deliver on challenging and aspirational goals for self, supporting growth and DBS capability targets.
  • Integrate DBS tools into D4G and act as CP for DBS tools; mentor peers and modify behavior based on feedback to enhance impact.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or Doctoral degree with 5+ years of experience.
  • 4+ years of experience applying continuous improvement/lean manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor associates and teams at various levels, from production associates to senior leadership.
  • Positive attitude in challenging situations and an uplifting, realistic outlook on opportunities.
  • Ability to shift approach when circumstances change and make decisions without full information or clear direction.
Travel Requirements
  • Ability to travel to other Danaher Operating Companies for development and to drive continuous improvement, up to 10% travel.
Preferred Experience
  • Achieved CP in applicable DBS tools (SW, 5S, VRK, QSB, TPI, PSP, VSM).
Salary and Benefits

Annual salary range: $125,000 - $150,000. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan for eligible employees.
