Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Scheduling Analyst to join our team and support our manufacturing operations! Summary: The Scheduling Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules to support on-time delivery of aerospace components and assemblies. This role partners closely with sales, production, supply chain, engineering, and quality teams to balance capacity, material availability, and regulatory requirements while minimizing risk and disruption.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for aerospace parts and assemblies across multiple work centers
- Analyze capacity, labor, tooling, and material constraints to ensure achievable and compliant schedules
- Monitor schedule adherence and proactively identify risks to on-time delivery
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement to align material availability with production plans
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to incorporate changes, rework, and nonconformances
- Perform “what-if” scenario analysis to support demand changes, disruptions, or priority shifts
- Track and report key performance metrics such as schedule attainment, lead time, and throughput
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling accuracy and production efficiency
- Ensure schedules comply with aerospace regulatory and quality standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA requirements where applicable)

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of scheduling, production planning, or operations analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Visual, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization or reporting tools is a plus
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of capacity planning, finite scheduling, and demand forecasting
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or similar credentials
