Job DescriptionThe Role:
Our site in Chaska is seeking a Process Technician IV to join our team.
As a Lead Machining Process Technician, you play a critical role in enabling Entegris to drive the Future of Innovation. In this position, you will lead the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of machining processes for a variety of engineered materials. You will provide technical expertise to both Manufacturing and Engineering teams by implementing process changes, supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), and optimizing existing product and process lines.
This role also requires active participation in Entegris' safety culture and a strong commitment to our PACE values.
This position will mainly work 1st shift hours (8am-4pm) but there will be times when the hour will need to flex based on project and production demands.
What You’ll Do- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross functional teams to develop, document, and enhance product manufacturability, including prototyping, fixture and design development, CNC programming for manufacturability, and optimizing work cell layout.
- Ensure product is consistent with established specifications. Escalate quality issues as appropriate. Ensure highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality system, ISO and/or other standards.
- Focus on key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality. Promote and implement use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities. Participate actively in continuous improvement activities such as 5s, Kaizen events, etc.
- Assist in training manufacturing personnel in the operation of new and existing equipment and processes. Assist manufacturing in resolving problems or concerns that arise during the manufacturing process.
- Complete miscellaneous tasks assigned in support of larger organization and production goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Perform duties in a safe manner and observe approved safety procedures. Communicate potential hazards immediately to supervisor.
- Vocational education in machining or equivalent education.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of work‑related experience, preferably with machining plastics.
- Ability to set up and operate manufacturing equipment, such as CNC mills, CNC lathes and manual mills and lathes, and various equipment.
- Ability to program CNC lathes with live tooling and CNC mills with 3–5 axis at the machine and offline.
- CAD and CAM proficiency. Mastercam and Solidworks preferred.
- Familiarity with Mazak CNC controls, Mazatrox experience preferred.
- Understanding of basic SPC control tools.
- Ability to adapt to work environment, workforce and customers’ needs.
- Computer literacy – Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and other applications.
- Good visual ability to detect quality defects.

- Compensation: $35-$45 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
