Production Manager, Operations Manager
Overview
Integer is a leading medical device contract manufacturing organization. The Operations Manager will provide leadership for Production Supervisors and direct associates, overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations for defined product lines at one of Integer’s manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage Production Supervisors and individual performers to deliver key performance objectives.
- Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives that align with the Integer Production System.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security protocols.
- Drive resource planning for new product launches and technology releases.
- Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity.
- Model inclusive communication and engage associates through daily boards, project updates, and one‑on‑one meetings.
- Safety – number of safety observations, improvement suggestions.
- People – associate engagement, voluntary turnover rate, days to fill open positions.
- Quality – customer complaint rate, NCR rate, complaint cycle time, CAPA cycle time.
- Delivery – on‑time delivery performance, schedule/Takt attainment.
- Inventory – days on hand, inventory turns.
- Productivity – first pass yield, labor efficiencies, OEE, throughput.
- Cost – incremental savings, budget adherence, overtime usage.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, or Manufacturing Excellence practices.
- Experience managing both MTS and MTO production models.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and achieve measurable results.
- Good analytical, financial acumen, and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective emotional intelligence and people‑development skills.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and resilience under high‑energy environments.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations, Engineering, or related field.
Competitive base salary ($108,075‑$158,510) plus cash‑based incentive program. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) with matching, paid time off, holidays, and parental leave after one year.
