Machine Operator - 1st Shift

Lifecore Biomedical is seeking a hard-working, reliable team player who wants to expand their career in biomedical manufacturing.

As a Machine Operator, you will set up and operate packaging equipment in the final manufacturing stages of Lifecore products. During the course of your shift, you will:

* Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment that labels, seals and packages Lifecore products

* Perform all processes as required to label, print, tray seal, pouch, final package and inspect Lifecore products

* Document completed work during the packaging of the products

* Participate in the review of batch records, procedures, and practices to help ensure the safety of Lifecore products as well as personnel

To qualify as a Machine Operator, you'll need the following:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* At least six months experience in the setup and operation of semi-automated manufacturing equipment

* Previous packaging in a medical device or equivalent regulated industry a plus

* Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

* The ability to comprehend and follow written operating procedures

* Able to lift 40 pounds

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm

Starting pay: $23.00/hour + $1.25/hour
