** Mold Technician
** to join our team## ## In this role, you will be responsible for hanging molds, performing barrel changes, and installation of all auxiliary equipment included in all set-ups. In this role, you will also see a clear path for career advancement. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality, supporting reliable production flow, and contributing to operational excellence.## This position will mainly work 10PM-6AM, Monday-Friday.## ##

* What You’ll Do:

**## * ## Set up production runs in the press and how to maintain auxiliary equipment (single water units/thermolater, temp controller, robot, end of arm tooling)* ## Press TPMs* ## Mold removal to analyze for cleaning/repairs before storing* ## Completes setup/shut down and barrel purge procedures and job packets* ## Focuses on key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality* ## Promotes and implements use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities* ## Participate actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc.
* ## Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals* ## Monitor molded parts for visual and dimensional conformity; take corrective action or escalate when necessary* ## Including all other duties as required## ## ##
** What We Seek:**## * ## Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship* ## High school diploma or GED required* ## 3–5 years of mechanical or injection molding setup experience preferred* ## Basic math, computer literacy, and accurate data entry skills; SAP experience preferred* ## Competency using powered hand tools, fasteners, and measurement devices* ## Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail for safety and quality* ## Competence in basic math and computer data entry* ## Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting ability in mechanical or process-based environments* ## Experience participating in continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, 6S, or waste‐reduction initiatives* ## Ability to recognize and communicate quality defects and ensure parts meet required specifications* ## Previous injection mold setup experience preferred* ## Ability to kneel, crawl, crouch, and work in confined spaces during mold changes* ## Can comfortably stand and walk for duration of the shift* ## Physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs.
