The RoleOur site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be full time, 6 months in duration.
What You'll DoAs a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op, you'll gain hands‑on experience supporting manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Participate in daily Tier meetings to monitor production performance, identify challenges, and support operational priorities.
- Create, update, and maintain manufacturing work instructions and process documentation.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and eliminate waste.
- Prepare and initiate Management of Change (MOC) documentation to support process improvements and operational changes.
- Present proposed process changes and improvement initiatives to cross‑functional teams to gain stakeholder alignment and support.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on projects related to process optimization, productivity improvements, quality enhancements, and manufacturing best practices.
- Collect and analyze production data to support decision‑making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Work closely with operations, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to solve manufacturing challenges.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least one year of completed coursework.
- Interest in manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Previous manufacturing, production, internship, Co-Op, or hands‑on technical experience is preferred.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Eligibility- Must be a currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
- Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co‑op program
- Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co‑ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
