The Technician Production Operations is responsible for following established procedures for in vivo antibody production as well as routine animal care and husbandry in large and small animal species.
This position reports to the Supervisor, Animal Operations and is part of the Animal Operations Facility located in Maple Plain, MN and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Read, understand, and follow established work instructions and procedures with emphasis on quality and compliance with regulations (USDA, FDA, GMP, and ISO) and high animal welfare standards
- Independently and as a team execute work regarding in vivo antibody production, including injections, venipuncture, serum processing, antibody quantification, and animal husbandry
- Provide operations support by performing preventative maintenance, managing equipment calibrations, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- AA Degree or higher degree, with 1+ years of experience
- Ability to work with a variety of large and small animal species
- Ability to work within established procedures with a high attention to detail
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to frequently stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs; ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including outdoors and in an animal barn environment
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Farm or other large animal operations
- Regulated industry and/or animal laboratory environments (e.g. USDA, FDA)

The hourly range for this role is $28-32. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
