The Supplier Quality Engineer I for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for improving supplier quality for purchased components.
This position reports to the Supplier Quality Manager and is part of the Supplier Quality located in Chaska, MN and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Execution of daily supplier management actions to improve supplier performance
- Disposition nonconforming material and develop plans to prevent recurrence
- Primary supplier quality representative for root cause and corrective action analysis regarding supplier caused manufacturing issues
- Update supplier material control plans and incoming material inspection plans
- Work with suppliers to determine root cause and develop robust corrective actions.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science field
- 0-2 years experience
- Ability to read and understand specifications on engineering drawings
- Investigation skills to determine if components are nonconforming
- Technical writing skills to document investigation results
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lb, any other physical requirements
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Functional experience in supplier management in an FDA or other regulated industry
- Knowledge of GDT
- Experience with sampling plans and measurement systems

The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
