Disposition Technician- Entry Level

We are looking for an entry level IT disposition technician to help with equipment returned from the field.

• Follow detailed specifications for unpacking, cleaning/restoring, recycling or proper disposal of customer equipment returned.
• Box and label equipment as needed according to customer requests.
• Complete customer inventory check‑off lists to ensure 100% accuracy of returned devices.
• Track and record inventory returned to be decommissioned.
• Assist with data management involving disposition status, schedules and project deliverables.
• Assist with the daily maintenance, clean‑up and organization of the Disposition Center.
• Assist with the Configuration Team as needed when disposition activities are caught up.
• Communicate with Project, Configuration and Warehouse teams to understand and fulfill customer requests and keep others updated on status of tasks.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others.

• High School diploma required; two‑year college or technical degree or equivalent related work experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience.
• Physically able to lift PCs, servers, peripherals and network equipment (up to 75 lbs.).
• Basic PC troubleshooting skills and knowledge of various Microsoft operating systems.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments.
• Ability to accurately track, troubleshoot and problem‑solve.
• Enthusiastic with exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.
• Accuracy in data entry and tracking of inventory equipment.
• Self‑starter ability to manage one's own time effectively.
• Prior experience or familiarity with ERP software applications.
• Any related certifications a plus.

Entry level

Pay range: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour.
