Position Overview
Senior Facilities HVAC Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will manage general facilities repairs and preventative maintenance activities across the campus. The role reports to the Facilities Manager and is located in Chaska, MN.
Responsibilities- Ensure successful maintenance of building infrastructure by troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical equipment including structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, heat pumps, and cooling towers.
- Conduct facility inspections and equipment condition assessments to determine necessary modifications, including repair work and replacement of refrigeration systems (Walk-in Freezers and Coolers).
- Work collaboratively with a team of repair technicians as well as project and facility managers.
- Associate degree in a related trade (e.g., HVAC) or equivalent years of experience in building equipment troubleshooting/repair.
- Refrigeration License.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders.
- Experience working with minimal supervision.
- Experience reading and working from blueprints, technical schematics, and floor layouts.
- MN Boilers License.
The hourly range for this role is $33.00 - $42.00 per hour. This range is a good-fidelity estimate at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The position is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
