We're hiring a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to support both production equipment and critical plant utilities. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping operations running safely and efficiently—maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement across the facility.

• Maintain and repair production equipment, facility systems, and plant utilities to ensure reliable operations
• Support utilities including refrigeration, steam, water, and compressed air systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Diagnose issues quickly and implement effective root-cause solutions
• Install, relocate, and upgrade equipment to support production needs
• Use CMMS to log work orders, track maintenance, and manage priorities
• Coordinate with outside contractors for maintenance and project support
• Partner with production and engineering teams to optimize performance and uptime
• Conduct safety checks including air quality and system inspections
• Manage maintenance tools, parts, and materials for efficiency and readiness
• Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed

• Experience maintaining production equipment and facility systems in a manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Knowledge of plant utilities (refrigeration, steam, water, air systems)
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial control systems (Allen-Bradley preferred)
• Proficiency working with 3-phase electrical systems
• Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance programs
• Familiarity with CMMS systems
• Basic welding and fabrication ability
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement

• Food or high-volume manufacturing experience
• Experience coordinating with contractors or supporting capital projects

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Chaska, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr. 401k with company match Insurance
