Drive Reliability. Power Production.We're hiring a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to support both production equipment and critical plant utilities. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping operations running safely and efficiently—maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement across the facility.

What You'll Do- Maintain and repair production equipment, facility systems, and plant utilities to ensure reliable operations
- Support utilities including refrigeration, steam, water, and compressed air systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Diagnose issues quickly and implement effective root-cause solutions
- Install, relocate, and upgrade equipment to support production needs
- Use CMMS to log work orders, track maintenance, and manage priorities
- Coordinate with outside contractors for maintenance and project support
- Partner with production and engineering teams to optimize performance and uptime
- Conduct safety checks including air quality and system inspections
- Manage maintenance tools, parts, and materials for efficiency and readiness
- Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed
- Experience maintaining production equipment and facility systems in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of plant utilities (refrigeration, steam, water, air systems)
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial control systems (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Proficiency working with 3-phase electrical systems
- Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance programs
- Familiarity with CMMS systems
- Basic welding and fabrication ability
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
- Food or high-volume manufacturing experience
- Experience coordinating with contractors or supporting capital projects

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Chaska, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr. 401k with company match Insurance
