Material Handler II

This position is located in Chaska, MN.

• Perform physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records, and reject unsatisfactory items.
• Package and prepare products for final shipment, post weights and shipping charges.
• Lift heavy items, operate a forklift as needed.
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.
• Review customer orders, examine, stock, and distribute merchandise in inventory warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing lines.
• Manage non‑inventory items stored for each business unit, including moving, labeling, and updating holding lists.
• Coordinate scrap items and scrap supplier.
• Manage storage requests for special projects/shipments, warehouse storage management and space allocation, coordinate crating requests, and return materials authorizations.

• Associate’s degree or minimum of 2 years of related experience; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working in an assembly/manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to navigate ERP systems such as SAP.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong team player, reliable, punctual, willing to learn, accountable, self‑motivated, safety‑focused mindset.

• 1st shift, Monday–Friday.
• Occasional on‑call weekend work.

• Regularly stand.
• Use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls; climb or balance.
• Walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally.
• Talk or hear.
• Regularly lift and move up to 35 pounds.
• Must have close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• Salary range: $17.78 – $23.80 per hour, based on location, experience, skill, education, certifications, and/or training.
