Waste Management Supervisor II Position

Location: Blenheim

Lead curbside waste collection with the Municipality of Chatham-Kent as a permanent full-time Supervisor II. This role focuses on managing operations efficiently and supervising a dedicated team.

As the Supervisor II in Waste Management, you will work alongside the Supervisor I to ensure seamless curbside operations and depot management. This role involves overseeing both unionized and non-unionized staff, collaborating on budget compliance, and maintaining health and safety inspections. Your leadership will drive the quality of waste management services within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise curbside waste collection and depot operations

• Lead and schedule teams of union and non-union operators

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Manage budget and financial records related to operations

• Liaise with community partners and suppliers for service delivery

Requirements:

• College diploma or university degree in relevant field

• Four years of progressive experience, preferably in supervision

• Strong knowledge of waste management operations

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• DZ license is a strong asset
