Position: Electrician Role at Wabtec Foundry
Location: Wallaceburg

Wabtec Foundry is on the lookout for a skilled Electrician to maintain and improve our plant’s electrical systems. This position demands a licensed professional with industrial experience and robust troubleshooting abilities.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be pivotal in maintaining the safety and efficiency of electrical equipment. Your responsibilities include timely repairs, inspections, and supporting continuous improvement efforts alongside other skilled trades in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair all plant equipment efficiently

• Perform inspections in line with maintenance protocols

• Modify equipment to improve productivity

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards

Requirements:

• Valid Electrical License in Ontario required

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial settings

• Effective in utilizing hand and power tools

• Fluent communication skills in English

• Willingness to adapt for shift coverage
