Position: Join Plasman as Skilled Trade Technician
Location: Tilbury

Join the Tilbury Manufacturing team at Plasman as a Skilled Trade Technician. Your primary responsibility will be proactive maintenance of machinery to ensure high production efficiency and longevity.

As part of the maintenance department, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. Your knowledge of equipment maintenance, particularly in PLC, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fields, will be pivotal. This role requires a completed Maintenance diploma or certificate and the flexibility to work shifts when necessary, reflecting a commitment to teamwork and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance tasks on all equipment types

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions

• Execute preventative maintenance according to specifications

• Maintain the building through repairs as needed

• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and audits

Requirements:

• Experience with PLCs and mechanical systems

• Maintenance diploma or certificate preferred

• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Must excel in high-pressure environments
