Become a crucial part of Wabtec Foundry's team as an Industrial Electrician. Focus on machinery repairs, inspections, and enhancing operational efficiency in an industrial environment.
This role is perfect for a licensed Electrician with a solid background in industrial settings. As the Plant Electrician, you will report to the Facilities Manager and handle repairs and maintenance of electrical systems across the facility. Your contribution will help support production while ensuring compliance with safety standards. You must be adaptable and ready to collaborate with peers for effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair electrical components and wiring

• Inspect machinery for potential issues as part of your duties

• Modify equipment to aid in continuous improvement

• Ensure compliance with electrical code standards

• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities
Requirements:

• Valid electrician license in Ontario (442A or 309A)

• Minimum of 2 years’ industrial experience required

• Flexible for shift coverage as needed

• Competent in using hand and power tools

• Strong initiative and work ethic essential
