Emergency Response Mitigation Technician

Become an integral part of BELFOR’s emergency response team as a Mitigation Technician. This role focuses on restoration techniques, following IICRC S-500 standards, primarily in residential and commercial settings.

As a Mitigation Technician, you will support emergency response and restoration projects. Working under supervision, you'll apply techniques for structural cleaning, drying, and water remediation while collaborating with team members and sometimes working independently. Your efforts will be crucial in ensuring project goals are met and customer expectations are exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and restoration at job sites and in the warehouse

• Conduct moisture mapping, water extraction, and mould remediation

• Document all restoration-related work accurately with photographs

• Maintain vehicles, supplies, and equipment functionality

• Ensure safety through hazard assessments and proper tool usage

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Understanding of customer service principles

• Valid driver’s license for operation compliance
