Are you an experienced Alarm Engineer looking for a stable, permanent role with a company that values technical expertise?
We are seeking a Fire Alarm Service / Fire and Security Engineer to join our dedicated team in Kent, focusing on high‑quality service delivery across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential sites.
The RoleIn this position, you will be the face of the company, ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients' systems. You won't just be "checking boxes"; you will be responsible for:
- Servicing & Maintenance:
Routine upkeep of various open protocol fire alarm systems. - Fault Finding:
Diagnosing complex issues and providing efficient, long‑term solutions. - Small Works:
Carrying out minor installations and remedial works as identified during servicing. - System Auditing:
Confidently identifying system age, condition, and any non‑compliances to ensure sites meet British Standards.
- Panels:
Advanced, Morley, Kentec, EDA, Haes, and C‑TEC. - Wireless Technology:
Previous experience with EMS and Hyfire is highly preferred. - Standards: A robust working knowledge of BS 5839.
- Experience:
Previous dedicated fire alarm servicing experience. - Licence: A full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
- Mindset:
The ability to work independently, manage your own local patch, and communicate effectively with site managers and residents. - Added Value:
Experience with AOV systems, Emergency Lighting (EML), Fire Extinguishers, or Refuge Systems is a significant advantage.
- Competitive Salary: £40k+ per annum (dependent on experience).
