Job Overview
Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division – a new era of mobile repair. The role offers a competitive base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance where applicable) with on‑target earnings up to £57,000. The standard work week is 40 hours, core hours from 08:30 to 17:00, with one Saturday per month. Overtime and bonus opportunities are available.

- Full‑time, 40‑hour week with Monday–Saturday availability (08:00–20:00) for flexibility and stability.
- Opt‑in Guaranteed Overtime – after the first month, you can choose to work extra rest days at £30 per hour, potentially adding up to £5,000 per year.

- Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
- Excellent people skills, as mobile mechanics are the face of the RAC.
- Comfortable working on driveways, in car parks, and directly with members.
- Independence, problem‑solving, and variety in daily tasks.
- Pride in using technical ability to genuinely help people and keep them moving.
- Independence in a mobile role.
