Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division – a new era of mobile repair. The role offers a competitive base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance where applicable) with on‑target earnings up to £57,000. The standard work week is 40 hours, core hours from 08:30 to 17:00, with one Saturday per month. Overtime and bonus opportunities are available.

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In‑depth repairs normally completed in a workshop

• Earnings – market competitive base salary of £45,370 with potential earnings up to £57,000 through bonuses and premium‑rate overtime.
• Full‑time, 40‑hour week with Monday–Saturday availability (08:00–20:00) for flexibility and stability.

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience, or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

• Excellent people skills, as mobile mechanics are the face of the RAC.
• Comfortable working on driveways, in car parks, and directly with members.
• Independence, problem‑solving, and variety in daily tasks.
