Engineering Manager| CNC Manufacturing
I'm partnering with a manufacturing client seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering strategy, process improvement, and technical operations within a high-precision CNC manufacturing environment.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on engineering leader who thrives in continuous improvement, machining/process optimization, team development, and operational excellence.
Compensation: $110K to $130K Onsite Role in Central Illinois FULL Relocation Assistance Available
What You'll Own:
- Engineering leadership & department strategy
- CNC manufacturing process optimization & continuous improvement initiatives
- Programming, cycle time reduction, tooling performance, and setup improvements
- Team leadership, training, coaching, and performance development
- Project management, documentation, process controls & engineering standards
- Driving efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence across the shop floor
Ideal Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 6+ years of CNC manufacturing / engineering leadership experience
- Strong background in G-Code programming, process engineering, tooling, blueprint reading, GD&T, and machining operations
- Experience leading teams, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and improving production performance
- Bonus points for experience with Plex software, NDT inspections, 5S methodology, and advanced manufacturing process improvements.
