When subbing across our district, you'll work with a diverse student body and supportive staff from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. Substitute school nurses are an integral part of the Ball-Chatham community, ensuring our students receive exceptional care during instances of illness or injury so they can stay healthy, safe, and ready to learn.
This Role Is a Great Fit If You- Have strong clinical knowledge of medical disorders and treatments relevant to children and adolescents.
- Are familiar with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and privacy standards governing school health services.
- Possess a solid understanding of child growth and developmental stages.
- Are passionate about supporting Ball-Chatham's vision, mission, and community values.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Bachelor's Degree (BSN preferred).
- $18.50 per hour for Nurse (LPN)
- $28.38 per hour for Nurse (RN)
