Ball-Chatham CUSD #5 is seeking motivated, passionate, and dedicated professionals to join our Titan Talent as a School Safety Officer in our school district!

• Ensure Campus Safety:
  Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, faculty, and visitors across campus.
• Support Student Well-Being:
  Monitor student behavior and support everyday safety during school operations and activities.

Respond & Protect:
Address and resolve security concerns or incidents at your assigned building and other district facilities as needed.

  Schedule:
  
  Work a 9-month schedule (175 days) aligned with the school year—enjoy summers off while maintaining your full, year-round health insurance coverage.

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Active or retired law enforcement officer in good standing with prior agency and the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB).
• Ability to obtain and maintain any licenses, certifications, training, or qualifications required for assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to successfully complete criminal background checks and other employment screenings required by law and District policy.
