Overview
Hybrid
Responsibilities- GL month end close
- Prepare financial statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, cash flow
- Cost accounting, inventory, manufacturing variances; manage staff
- Perform various accounting functions with respect to general ledger accounting, financial statements and account analysis
- Prepare schedules and financial statement highlights
- Ensure account activity is recorded, corrections are made, adjustments are calculated and journal entries are prepared
- Review and prepare month/year end reports, accrual schedules and ad-hoc reports and analysis
- Review and verify entries and computer printouts to ensure accuracy of all account figures
- Assist with external and internal audits; work with outside CPA firm
- Prepare bank reconciliations and cash posting reports
- Maintain accounting files, inventory and costing; work with strong ERP systems including Quick Books, Oracle/SAP
- Strong GL month end close
- Experience with financial statements, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, cash flow
- Cost accounting, inventory, manufacturing variances
- Ability to manage staff
- Experience with ERP systems (Quick Books, Oracle/SAP)
- Hybrid work environment
