Electronic File Clerk (Temporary Project)

Location:

Chatham, NJ

Pay Rate: $30-$35/hour

Duration:
Approximately 1 Month

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, ideally 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with flexibility available

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented professional for a short-term Electronic File Cleanup Project with a client located in Chatham, NJ. This position requires onsite training initially, after which the selected candidate may work onsite, hybrid, or fully remote depending on project needs and performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organizing information, working independently, and ensuring accuracy in document management.

Responsibilities

+ Organize, categorize, and maintain electronic files within the client's document management system

+ Upload, label, and index documents accurately

+ Review and enter basic document information, including:

+ Plaintiff vs. Defendant details

+ Document types

+ Other file-related metadata

+ Perform electronic file cleanup and ensure records are complete and properly stored

+ Maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting project deadlines

+ Communicate questions or discrepancies to the team as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision

+ Accuracy-focused with a commitment to quality over speed

+ Comfortable working with electronic documents and databases

+ Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when needed

+ Previous administrative, legal support, records management, or document management experience is a plus
