Are you an experienced collision repair professional who thrives on organization, leadership, and keeping production moving efficiently? Join our team at Specialized Auto Craft, where quality, teamwork, and OEM-standard repairs drive everything we do. We're looking for a Production Manager who can lead our technicians, coordinate workflow, and ensure vehicles move through the shop efficiently while maintaining the highest repair standards.
WhatYou'll Do:
- Manage daily shop workflow and production schedules.
- Perform estimating and detailed repair planning to ensure accurate, efficient repairs.
- Coordinate repairs between body technicians, painters, estimators, and parts.
- Monitor repair progress to ensure vehicles are completed on time and to OEM standards.
- Effectively communicate with customers regarding repair plans, timelines, and progress updates.
- Maintain strong communication with the team to keep production running smoothly.
- Ensure quality control throughout the repair process.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient shop environment.
- Previous experience in collision repair production management, estimating, repair planning, or a leadership role in a body shop.
- Strong understanding of collision repair processes, including body, structural, and refinish operations.
- Experience writing estimates and developing accurate repair plans.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and maintain a professional, service-oriented approach.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage workflow, prioritize repairs, and keep the team productive.
- I-CAR certifications or OEM training preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Positive attitude with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
