Colony Pool - Assistant Manager

Help lead daily operations at Colony Pool and support a safe, organized, and positive summer experience for members and staff. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Pool Manager and Aquatics leadership to oversee scheduling, safety, and facility operations at our outdoor pool.

• Support daily pool operations including opening, closing, and facility readiness
• Coordinate pool scheduling for recreational swim, lessons, lap swim, and events
• Monitor pool conditions, water chemistry, and safety compliance
• Assist with staff scheduling, timekeeping, and supervision
• Communicate member feedback and operational needs to leadership
• Ensure the pool deck and surrounding areas remain clean and safe

• You stay organized and can manage multiple priorities
• You take safety seriously
• You communicate clearly and professionally with both staff and members

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior lifeguard experience required
• Current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using basic computer systems
• Supervisory experience preferred

• Outdoor summer environment (heat, humidity, sun)
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
• Maintaining visual and auditory awareness for safety
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
