Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site role for an Accounting Assistant, located in Chattanooga, TN. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for assisting with financial transactions, managing bookkeeping tasks, preparing financial statements, and using accounting software. Additional responsibilities include supporting the finance team, ensuring accurate records, and contributing to overall financial operations efficiency.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Accounting, Finance, and Bookkeeping concepts and practices
- Experience with Accounting Software and tools
- Strong skills in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Professional experience in construction industry financial operations is a plus
