Senior Audit Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audit Manager to join our growing accounting firm. In this role, you will lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and ensure the highest standards of audit quality and compliance. This position offers a great opportunity for leadership and growth within our dynamic and expanding firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to auditing standards.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments, including review of financial statements and internal control systems.
- Manage a team of audit professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations, assess risk, and offer strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Coordinate with internal teams across tax and advisory services to provide comprehensive client solutions.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business development initiatives and growing the firm's audit practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing audit teams.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and work effectively under deadlines.
- Proficiency in using audit and accounting software.
