Accounts Payable Specialist

Vaco is partnering with a reputable company in Chattanooga, TN to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist. The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy in vendor payments, account reconciliations, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role
• Strong understanding of AP processes including invoice coding, reconciliation, and check runs
• Ability to research and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
• Familiarity with financial regulations and internal controls
• Experience working across multiple companies/entities is a plus
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
