Senior Accountant

A manufacturing company Robert Half currently has a long-term contract opening with excellent growth opportunity for Senior Accountant who enjoys taking on new challenges and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.

This Senior Accountant opportunity is located in the Chattanooga area and will offer you great experience along with attractive compensation.

Major responsibilities:

• Ready monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
• Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
• Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
• Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
• Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
• Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
• Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments
• Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations
