Description

Robert Half is seeking experienced Senior Accountants for contract opportunities with a growing manufacturing company in the Chattanooga area. These roles are ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance.

Responsibilities

+ Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting

+ Prepare financial statements, consolidated P& L and balance sheet flux analysis

+ Analyze financial results, cash flow, budgets, and forecasts

+ Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate policies

+ Support internal and external audits

+ Improve accounting and reporting processes through automation

+ Partner with cross-functional teams and assist with special projects

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred but not required

+ 2-5 years of general accounting experience

+

Experience with ERP systems, ie Oracle Net Suite, SAP, Sage Intacct, Business Central, etc

+ Strong knowledge of account reconciliations, AR, cash applications, and financial reporting

+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
