Position: Bookkeepers with Payroll experience
Description

Our team is seeking experienced Bookkeepers for ongoing onsite opportunities in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will bring strong bookkeeping experience, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage accounting transactions activity across multiple entities. This role is well suited for professionals who are detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable handling payroll and day-to-day accounting operations independently.
* These positions are located in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas
* Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance

+ Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities

+ Process payroll and support related reporting and compliance activities

+ Prepare account reconciliations and reports

+ Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

+ Process payroll for hourly and salary employees, including quarterly reporting (941s and 942s)

+ Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis

+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations

Requirements

+ Previous experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting/bookkeeping role

+ Proven experience working with multiple entities

+ Experienced in processing payroll

+ Strong technical skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

+ Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting processes

+ High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

+ Must be able to work onsite in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area

Preferred Qualifications:

+

Experience with accounting or ERP software such as Quick Books, Oracle Net Suite, Microsoft D365, SAP, or Workday

+ Knowledge of payroll management and internal accounting controls

* All candidates must undergo drug and background screening for consideration
