Position Summary

The Nursing & Allied Health (NAH) Technical Clerk reports to the Academic Coordinator and provides essential administrative and technical support to the NAH Division. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with program accreditation requirements, managing clinical affiliation agreements, supporting hiring and compliance documentation, maintaining divisional website content, and updating marketing and program materials.

The Technical Clerk works collaboratively with the Dean of Nursing and Allied Health (NAH, the Academic Coordinator, Administrative Assistant 3, Program Directors, and faculty to ensure accurate data management, timely reporting, and consistent communication across 18 academic programs.

Essentional Functions Organizational Culture
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the Dean, Academic Coordinator, Program Directors, and faculty.
  • Assist with tracking and organizing division-level documentation, reports, and records.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned in support of division operations.
Fiscal Stewardship and Program Innovation
  • Maintain and track all clinical affiliation agreements and contracts for NAH programs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with institutional and accreditation requirements.
  • Work directly with college contract officers and program directors on all new contracts
  • Collaborate with the Academic Coordinator to ensure program data is accurate and current across institutional compliance platforms.
Holistic Student Supports
  • Update and maintain NAH Division web pages in conjunction with Marketing to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and accuracy of program information.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all digital and print materials representing NAH programs.
Teaching Excellence and Program Innovation
  • Work to support Program Directors in updating documents for websites, and various accreditation agencies
  • Promote, support and participate in collecting documents for new faculty onboarding and maintaining Faculty Qualifications/Compliance Assist.
Knowledge, Skills and Work Characteristics
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
  • Ability to represent the College and division professionally with internal and external constituents to further the purpose, values and mission of the College
  • Knowledge of professional development theory as applied in a community college setting.
  • Ability to think strategically, to work collaboratively and to make decisions, both collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to use data to inform decision-making and planning
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and to lead in an environment of change
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum Associate degree
  • Two years’ experience in academic division or educational related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Access Database Management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting program accreditation
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with students and professional staff in an academic environment

Salary Range: $32,671 - $38,388
