Position OverviewJoin us as a Part Time Billing Clerk where you’ll play a key role in supporting our team and driving operational excellence. We are seeking a detail‑oriented and organized professional to manage toll violation processing, payments, and dispute resolution while assisting the accounting team with various tasks.
WhatYou'll Do
- Review and process toll violations received in the mail on a routine basis.
- Submit online toll payments through state and local travel authorities.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies by processing disputes for incorrectly billed tolls.
- Upload documents in Docstar for secure digital storage.
- Provide necessary documentation to rebill and collect payments from customers.
- Assist in the distribution of mail and packages.
- Maintain accurate historical records by scanning financial transactions and relevant documents.
- Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive organizational information.
- Support the accounting team with various projects and administrative tasks as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.
- Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and document management systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in accounting support, administrative roles, or toll processing preferred.
