Overview
Associated General Contractors (AGC) East Tennessee is seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations & Administrative Coordinator to support daily operations, member engagement, and program execution. This role serves as the operational backbone of the organization—ensuring smooth internal processes, strong member communication, and effective coordination across events, facilities, and programs.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and takes ownership of tasks from start to finish.

Reports To:
CEO and the Director of Workforce Development
Operations & Administrative Support
Provide day-to-day administrative support across the organization
Manage calendars, logistics, and internal coordination
Support board and committee meetings (agendas, materials, follow-ups)
Manage and update the digital plan room (approximately 2 hours daily)
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility for members
Coordinate with members and contractors regarding postings
Member Database & CRM (Growth Zone)
Maintain and update member records in Growth Zone
Ensure data accuracy and segmentation
Support reporting and targeted communications
Conduct outreach to members regarding:
- Upcoming events
- Programs and opportunities
Support efforts to increase attendance and engagement
Maintain and update membership directories
Event Support
Assist with planning and execution of events, including:
Registration management
Work closely with the Director of Marketing on event execution
Facility Management (Construction Career Center)Coordinate day-to-day facility needs:
Scheduling
Supplies
General upkeep
Ensure the space is prepared for classes, events, and meetings
Special ProjectsProvide support to leadership and directors on special initiatives
Assist with cross-functional projects as needed
Qualifications2–5 years of administrative, operations, or coordination experience
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Experience with CRM systems (Growth Zone or similar preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Strong communication and follow-through
