General Clerk/Administrative Assistant – Chattanooga, TN
Pay From $15/hr
MUST:
Public trust clearable;
Requires 1 to 3+ years of administrative or general clerical experience;
Strong proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office);
Excellent written and oral communication skills for handling phone calls, emails, and greeting visitors;
Attention to detail;
Maintain a professional, friendly manner.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for the appropriate individuals as needed.
- Make arrangements for conference rooms, including scheduling (or rescheduling) and coordinate with all parties invited to the meeting; scheduled teleconference or video conferencing services, and ensure that all necessary equipment (projectors, multimedia, etc.) is available and in working condition.
- Serve as liaison between the COR (or their designee) and the Office of the Executive Director for Operations for all matters related to controlled correspondence.
- Serve as liaison with other Offices for routine administrative matters.
- Assemble background materials for meetings or reports.
- Assist Instructor with preparing training material.
- Data entry in Property Management Systems.
- Ensure classrooms are ready before training sessions.
- Pull reports and data entry in the Training Management System.
- Weekly email class rosters for upcoming classes/courses.
- Student/Badge check-in for classes/course.
- Badge testing & preparation for student/badge check-in.
- Clean & restock classrooms as needed.
- Ongoing key identification/inventory.
- Escort monthly Emergency Equipment maintenance check.
- Obtain supplies in the NRC Supply Room necessary to complete the Contractor employee's assigned tasks.
- Public trust clearable.
- 1 to 3+ years of administrative or general clerical experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a professional, friendly demeanor.
