Bid Board Analyst

The Bid Board Analyst will analyze customer freight options and internal freight needs, price/bid freight, and provide spot freight to the organization.

• Understand account characteristics and cost to serve customers.
• Communicate market changes and collaborate with Operations to ensure profitable yield.
• Apply statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
• Recommend pricing strategies that align closely with market trends and identify new market segments.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operation departments on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies.
• Calculate rates for freight based on available data.
• Work with internal departments to determine new rates and evaluate existing rates.
• Conduct independent judgement around bids and pricing of freight.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical approach to decision making.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work within deadlines.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Mathematics, or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience in the logistics industry preferred.
