Area Construction Manager – Chattanooga, TN

A top home builder is seeking an Area Construction Manager to oversee the construction of multiple residential communities throughout the Chattanooga market. This leadership role is responsible for managing Superintendents, driving construction schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring homes are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have production homebuilding experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead and mentor a team of Superintendents across multiple communities.
• Ensure homes are built on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards.
• Monitor safety, customer satisfaction, and construction performance.
• Partner with purchasing, sales, warranty, and land teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Drive process improvements and maintain strong relationships with trade partners.

• 5+ years of production homebuilding construction experience.
• Previous experience managing multiple communities or construction teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the Chattanooga market as needed.
• Proficiency with construction management software is preferred.
