Insight Global is seeking a Construction Project Manager for one of their clients in the Chattanooga area within the commercial construction industry. This individual will have full ownership of ground-up construction projects from early planning and preconstruction through final delivery and closeout, typically managing multiple projects at a time. Day to day, they will develop and maintain detailed project schedules, manage the RFI and submittal process, coordinate purchasing strategies, and partner closely with superintendents to keep projects on track.
They will collaborate with estimating and purchasing teams to ensure profitability, oversee budgets and financial reporting, and proactively identify and resolve risks or issues. The role involves frequent communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality execution and strong relationships. The Project Manager will also handle requisitions, collections, and documentation while maintaining accurate and up-to-date project records.
Travel throughout the Southeast is expected for site visits, with occasional out-of-state travel supported by the company.
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager within a commercial general contracting environment
- Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects, including projects with contract values around $10M
- Experience overseeing projects from preconstruction and early planning through closeout and final delivery
- Strong ability to manage project schedules, RFIs, submittals, budgets, and financial performance
- Experience running multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced or growing organization
- Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Southeast for site visits, including occasional out-of-state travel
$100,000 to $150,000 per year annual salary.
