Role

Description:

This Project Engineer position is a full-time, on-site role located in the Chattanooga, TN area. This position supports all phases of concrete construction projects, including reviewing plans and specifications, assisting with project design and engineering calculations, and coordinating with project managers, field supervisors, and subcontractors. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing project documentation, tracking schedules and budgets, monitoring progress and quality, and helping resolve technical issues that arise on the job site.

The Project Engineer will participate in site visits, support material take-offs and procurement, and help ensure work complies with safety standards, building codes, and client requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to support scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of construction.
  • Candidates should possess Project Engineering skills to interpret drawings, perform basic calculations, and assist in technical decision-making.
  • Relevant qualifications include a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience), proficiency with project management and design software, and a solid understanding of construction safety practices.
  • Additional beneficial skills include attention to detail, problem-solving ability, time management, and familiarity with concrete materials, methods, and industry standards.
