Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) you will help community members access the financial solutions they need at the right time. In this low‑level, high‑performance role you will build relationships with customers, process transactions such as check cashing, money transfers, and customer payments, and deliver exceptional in‑store experiences.

- Review, validate, and process customer transactions accurately.
- Maximize customer success by offering personalized financial services.
- Enter and maintain customer information with precision in the POS system.
- Build new business through daily call campaigns.
- Assist in customer account management and collections by accepting payments and managing appointments.
- Perform duties outside the office as required, including vehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing events.
- Maintain store appearance and cleanliness to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain office security protocols, including opening/closing procedures and vault and cash drawer management.
- Uphold compliance with company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Engage in ongoing training and stay current on product and process changes.
- Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and navigate multiple tasks to meet performance standards.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership.
- Maintain a full‑time schedule with regular in‑person attendance, including weekends (minimum 40 hours per week).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accurate data entry ability.
- Proficiency with phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
- At least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
- Background check required.
- Ability to meet physical demands: standing up to 90% of the time, moving up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls.
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing.
- Cash handling and cash drawer/vault management experience.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred and may be required for certain locations).
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle available for use during the workday (mileage compensated).
