Customer Service Representative (Part‑Time with Potential for Full‑Time)

Window Genie, a Neighborly company, is a nationally ranked home service franchise dedicated to improving the look and value of homes throughout the Greater Chattanooga area. We provide professional services including window cleaning, pressure washing, house washing, gutter cleaning, window tinting, holiday lighting, permanent lighting, and other exterior maintenance services.

As a Customer Service Representative, you are a key member of our team and play an important role in delivering exceptional customer service while helping our office run efficiently. We are looking for someone who is self‑motivated, energetic, detail‑oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound phone calls and respond to customer inquiries professionally.
  • Prepare estimates and quotes for services and confidently close sales.
  • Manage and enter customer information accurately into our scheduling and point‑of‑sale systems.
  • Schedule jobs and communicate appointments, callbacks, delays, and updates with customers and field technicians.
  • Educate customers on our full range of services and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Follow up on estimates and previous customers to generate additional business.
  • Make outbound service reminder calls and customer follow‑up calls.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, text messages, and office calendars.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives including email campaigns, text blasts, robocalls, review requests, and social media updates.
  • Assist the owner with daily business operations and administrative tasks, which may vary based on seasonal business needs.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, inside sales, or a similar office position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy office environment.
  • Typing speed of 50–70 words per minute (WPM) with at least 95% accuracy is preferred to efficiently manage our fast‑paced, multitasking office environment.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as a team player.
  • Experience working in the home service industry is a plus but not required.

Schedule
  • Part‑time
  • 2–3 days per week
  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Opportunity to transition into a full‑time position based on performance and business needs.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting pay of $17.00 per hour, with opportunities for performance‑based raises.
  • Benefits for full‑time employees can be discussed during the hiring process.
