This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for medical professionals to work on-site, providing essential radiological services within a supportive medical practice environment.

As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images to assist in patient care. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services and contribute to improved patient outcomes.

• Interpret and analyze medical images, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
• Provide accurate and timely reports on findings to referring physicians
• Consult with medical staff regarding patient care and treatment options
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Stay current with advancements in radiology and imaging technology
• Contribute to the education and training of medical staff and students

• MD or DO degree with valid state medical license
• Experience in radiology as an associate or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of imaging modalities and techniques
• Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7a-5p

Call:
Monday-Friday (5p-7a) or weekends (7a-7a)

Duties:
Diagnostic and interventional radiology services

Required Procedures:
Biliary stents and drains, percutaneous nephrostomy, G-tube placement/change, J-tube reposition/change, chest tube, kyphoplasty, lumbar puncture, etc.
